The Ephemeral A.D. Baker Tractor and Threshing Machine Company

Below are pages from a vintage catalog in my collection from one of the short lived makers of tractors and threshers from the early 20th century. Wendel's Encyclopedia of American Farm Implements and Antiques includes a short entry, but very little extra information. They appear to have built two early gas tractors, steam engines and threshing machines during the first decades of the 20th century.

The Wendel book is an invaluable resource, but I think it could be vastly improved in this age of broad access to information. Wendel did his work during an era before the internet and the ability to find tiny bits of information about little blips in history like these machines.
