Canada Might be on to Something
While in Toronto Canada recently, one thing that is very noticible is the sheer lack of "american style" garages. The small, single car garage above just wouldn't be found in most developments in the US. It is only big enough to fit a modest sized car. This made me take a look around at the vehicles being driven. The number of SUV's and large personal trucks seemed to be much smaller in Canada's largest city than in comparable places in the US. I even saw several of the so called micro Smart Cars driving around. It hit me after I stopped at the gas station to fill up at what worked out to be $5.21 cents a gallon. In that moment, it all came together. Maybe the Canadians are on to something?
