Interesting Binder and Lanz Bulldog
This is a Youtube video of a Lanz Bulldog tractor and ground driven binder from a threshing show in Moynalty just north and west of Dublin Ireland. The binder has an interesting mechanism that I have not seen in American designs.
The tough looking Lanz Bulldog was manufactured in from the 1930's to the 1950's in Germany. John Deere bought the company in the late 1950's to provide it with a European base. Other versions of the Lanz were manufactured in several Latin American countries.
