Tractor Rebuilding Book

The good people at Motorbooks create a fine array of great primers and manuals for the mechanically minded. How to Rebuild and Restore Farm Tractor Engines is just such a book. This is a great book for anyone who is considering pulling Grandpa's tractor out of the tree row and getting it going. This is an excellent generalized guide to the do's and don'ts of a tractor rebuilding project.
It has been over 20 years since I have rebuilt an engine. This book provides some much needed reminders and new information from seasoned experts that will help me make the right decisions in my rebuilding project. The only drawback is the use of black and white photography where color would provide much better illustration of various processes. This is a must read for layman, shade tree mechanics or sometime farmers looking to rebuild that old tractor.
